Feedstorm is a single-player social simulation game about surviving an online information crisis. You play an influencer who’s nominated for an award, but a huge scandal erupts—and your time is limited to speak up and protect yourself.
Three core values: Emotion, Visibility, and Reputation determine the influencer’s fate in the game.
The game models the digital media ecosystem under an information crisis. Digital culture functions as a behavioral and emotional system that organizes how people connect, express, and perceive reality. As networks expand, fragilities amplify—misinformation, algorithmic incentives, and online harassment. Every online action can forge connections or ignite chaos.
Feedstorm simulates how online platforms translate personal effort into uneven and often conflicting outcomes. It models the digital media ecosystem as a behavioral and emotional system, where visibility, reputation, and emotional well-being (EVR) do not necessarily grow together. The game reflects how online success is also often shaped by timing, chance, and circumstance, rather than intention alone. Whether someone becomes visible depends on who they encounter, the moment they enter, and which currents they happen to align with. Players are placed under pressure to navigate uncertainty, balancing self-protection, public expectation, and personal limits. Rather than simulating a single path to success, Feedstorm reflects multiple real-world paths shaped by platform logic, public reaction, personal limits, and luck.
