Turtle Pond Project

This project focuses on creating a sustainable feeding solution for red-eared turtles, ensuring harmony in shared habitats. This is a team project: I collaborated with two other classmates. We made a 3D prototype of a turtle feeder. Through academic, industry, and creative research, we deepened our understanding of native turtle species and red-eared sliders in Central Park. After multiple iterations, we developed a specially designed turtle feeder tailored to the needs of red-eared sliders. This feeder prevents red-eared sliders from monopolizing food, helping to protect and sustain the native turtle population.
